Schuco window restrictors are precision-engineered to german engineering standards with british manufacturing execution. The slimline oval design allows the restrictor to sit flush against the window frame without obstructing sightlines or interfering with adjacent hardware. Damping over the full opening range means the vent decelerates smoothly rather than stopping abruptly, protecting the frame and seal across repeated daily use. The energy-absorbing end stop cushions the vent at maximum travel, extending the service life of both the restrictor and the window system. All current models are maintenance-free, requiring no lubrication or adjustment after fitting. The opening limiter with variable adjustment on the 276912 SimplySmart model allows the maximum vent angle to be set on site. Installation dimensions are screw centres on arm - 36mm and screw centres on pin - 25mm across the standard range. The variable adjustment models are rated to vent size: 450 - 800 mm.
